Meet Mira, formerly “Jitterbug!” Mira gave mom over an hour of break time before coming out head first at 9:45 am on April 26th 2024. She was our smallest, weighing only 5.8 ounces. Mira played the Uno card that switched up the colors for the rest of the round. So far we had a black and white tuxedo, two black and white parti’s, a solid black, and now… It was time for some chocolate!! She has the coolest brown and white parti coat. We can always tell it’s her by the three big milk chocolate spots traveling down her back. She didn’t take kindly to being the smallest so she developed the best and strongest latch of the litter and plumped herself up to the middle of the pack by day two.

Mira will be about 15 pounds as an adult, give or take a few pounds. She will have a fully furnished, curly, low-non-shedding coat.

Mira is no longer available. Apply for one of her littermates by clicking this link>> Welcome Families!

Meet our Flapper girl! She was the 7th and final puppy born to Chickadee and Bear’s Swing Pup litter. She was born right at 11 am on April 26th, 2024. She was the biggest puppy, born breach, at 7.8 ounces. We let Mama have her placenta as an end of labor treat. Flapper is a solid chocolate puppy, just like her Daddy. She has these beautiful silky ripples up and down her tiny legs and body that looks like someone poured hot, melted chocolate and it turned into a puppy. She even has a tiny chocolate chip nose.Flapper seems to be Chickadee’s snuggle buddy. She’s the only puppy she’ll allow near her face and she holds her like a stuffed animal while she sleeps. As I type this they’re sleeping together nose to nose.

Flapper is estimated to be about 15 pounds, give or take a few pounds, when she’s an adult. She’ll have a fully furnished, curly, low-non-shedding coat. Apply for Flapper by clicking this link>> Welcome Families!

Meet Tacky Annie! Weighing 6.4 ounces, Tacky Annie was our second gorgeous brown and white parti girl. She was born head first at 10:13 am on April 26th 2024. She has some of the most beautiful markings with 2 distinct chocolate hearts on her back. Our daughter says she looks like she has melted chocolate going down her head and around her neck. She consistently wins the peanut award at each morning and evening weigh in, steadily gaining but usually the smallest. Both brown and white parti girls had their curls pop into place right away. This sweet little girl appears to be a favorite of quite a few families.

Tacky Annie will be about 15 pounds as an adult, give or take a few pounds. She will have a fully furnished, low-non-shedding curly coat.

Meet Zoot in his amazing, swinging suit! He was the first of two boys born to Chickadee and Bear. He was born head first at 7:49 am on April 26th, 2024, at 7.5 ounces. Zoot is a black and white parti who takes his suit game seriously. He has stripes that run from his neck all the way down his tail. He even has a puff of white on the top of his head which we’ll call his top hat. He got his Daddy’s chocolate nose.

Zoot will be about 15 pounds, give or take a few pounds, when he’s an adult. He’ll have a fully furnished, curly, low-non-shedding coat.

Zoot is no longer available. Apply for one of Zoot’s littermates by clicking this link>> Welcome Families!

Meet Shorty George! This little guy is one of two boys born to Chickadee and Bear. At a birth weight of 6.5 ounces, he was born head first on April 26th 2024, at 8:04 am, just 15 minutes after his bigger brother. He’s aiming to be like his big brother, wearing his own black and white parti suit. His black markings look like a butterfly wing or Batman symbol across his back. He has a little chocolate chip nose like his father and he sets himself apart with a tiny little crook at the end of his tail. If you have ever done the Shorty George dance, you’ll notice his tail quite literally matches what your fingers do. Sadly, this unique feature will likely straighten out but we’ll always know it was there. We all know how brothers like to compete to see who is bigger. Shorty George quickly surpassed his brother Zoot’s “I’m bigger than you” status, though Zoot is hot on his crooked tail to win back first place. Maybe we keep it a secret that as miniature dogs they’re both destined for the short life.

Shorty George will be about 15 pounds as an adult, give or take a few pounds. He will have a fully furnished, low-non-shedding coat.

Meet Shim Sham! Shim Sham was the second girl born to Chickadee and Bear. She was born head first at 8:23 am on April 26th 2024, weighing 6.5 ounces. She is the only solid black puppy and our whole family was so excited as she made us all reflect back to the dog that started it all, Pierce, our black lab. He lived to be a happy old man and he’s the reason why we wanted to keep the Labrador features in our future dogs.

Shim Sham will have a gorgeous fully furnished, curly, low-non-shedding coat. She will weigh about 15 pounds as an adult, give or take a few pounds.

Meet Lindy! Lindy is our one and only black and white tuxedo girl born at 6.4 ounces to Bear and Chickadee. Lindy jump-started the entire birth on April 26th, 2024 at 7:29 am. She was delivered head first, with great ease, as her mom quite literally smiled the entire delivery. We sat back and watched Mom do her first ever baby cleanup, breaking the sac and cord herself and treating herself to the placenta that we fully intended to toss but thought better of. Chicky deserves ALL the treats! Lindy nursed and stayed latched most of the delivery. Little Lindy has her mom’s black button nose and the softest little silk jacket across her back and shoulders contrasting her sweet white belly. Lindy somehow surprised us twice. We spent years and months doing extensive testing on Mom and Dad, genetics, health, progesterone, temperatures, and we logged every detail and tracked every number. We were certain delivery would be Sunday the 28th. Then my sweeties ran in to wake me on Friday morning, “Mom! Chicky is having a puppy!!!” Chickadee and I were up late the night before. I was sewing extra whelping mats and she was digging and preparing herself in her little birth center. I ran out and, sure enough, could already see her head and paws moving in the fluid filled sac that was peaking out. Then after a few minutes, as a second surprise, she was pushed all the way out revealing her incredible tuxedo coat. We knew possible color combinations from the genetic testing we did, blacks, browns and reds, no merles, but never pictured such a unique parti coming out! We thought we’d have a litter of solid, similar colored, dark puppies. She was preparing us to see the most beautiful array of designs and colors!

Thanks Lindy!!

Lindy is estimated to be about 15 pounds as an adult, give or take a few pounds. She will have a fully furnished, low-non-shedding curly coat.
